Christina Tillinger has been practicing exclusively family law in the Houston, Galveston, and Brazoria County areas for the past twenty years. Christina advocates passionately for her clients, both in court and out of court. Many of Christina’s clients come from referrals from prior clients and from other lawyers. These referrals evidence her skills in handling complex cases and respect in the local legal community.
Christina was born and raised Corpus Christi, Texas, where much of her family still resides. Mrs. Tillinger attended The University of Texas and graduated in 1994. From there, she immediately went to law school at South Texas College of Law, graduating with her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1997. She took the bar exam immediately, and was licensed in November 1997.

In 1996 Christina Tillinger started off as a law clerk and continued working in the family law field until 2004 when she became a partner with the law firm of Dean & Ongert, which ultimately became Dean, Ongert & Tillinger. From there, she worked as a family law trial lawyer for The Enos Law Firm with Greg B. Enos from 2004 until 2017.
In 2017, Christina Tillinger and Dan Krieger, a prominent criminal law attorney, formed Krieger & Tillinger. The primary goal of Krieger & Tillinger is to continue to provide exceptional legal services in the Houston, Galveston, and Brazoria areas, focusing primarily in criminal defense and family law.

Christina has assisted parents and children in the CPS system, and has served as Guardian Ad Litem and Amicus Attorney in hundreds of cases over the years. Christina is also a mediator, and has been conducting successful mediations since 1996, while still in law school.
Christina is often appointed by the judges in Harris and Galveston counties to represent children in divorces and modification cases, as well as CPS and private adoptions.
Christina has a very good representation in the private community, the legal community, and has spent decades building trust with the judges that serve our counties.

Christina’s philosophy is that if a case can be kept out of court, that is best for the parents of a child. However, some cases simply cannot be kept out of court. She is always ready and willing to proceed with a contested hearing or trial - even under the toughest of facts.
Christina is the proud mom to three of the greatest kids in League City. Ms. Tillinger has lived in League City, Texas since 1999 and their children excel in CCISD schools. Her daughter is the valedictorian of Clear Springs High School Class of 2019.
