Kindel Jenkins - Family Lawyer with strong family and local knowledge

Kindel Nicole Jenkins joined Krieger & Tillinger as a family law attorney in April of 2016. A lifelong resident of Santa Fe, Texas, Kindel has deep roots in Galveston County. Kindel's father, Dennis Jenkins, DVM, was raised in Dickinson, Texas. In 1990, he moved his family to Santa Fe, Texas where he opened his large animal veterinary practice, Santa Fe Equine Associates, PLLC. Kindel's mother, Suzie Van, worked as a registered nurse for several years prior to earning her Masters in Science in Nursing Education. She is currently an associate clinical professor at Texas A&M University's College of Nursing. Through their examples, Kindel learned the value of hard work and dedication to her career at a young age. As a child, Kindel traveled the country training and showing American Paint horses. To this day, Kindel credits much of her ambition, drive and desire for success to lessons she learned while riding. Now as an adult, she is able to incorporate these values into her practice.

Kindel Jenkins - Family law is her passion

Kindel developed her passion for family law at 11 years old. As the daughter of two Texas A&M graduates, it was no surprise that Kindel attended Texas A&M University. In 2009, Kindel graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, completing her degree in just 3 years. Kindel then pursued a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. In 2012, Kindel graduated in the top of her class at the age of 24. While in law school, Kindel focused her studies primarily on family law and clerked with the 308th and 311th Judicial Courts in Harris County. Kindel became a licensed attorney in November of 2012.
